In this collaboration with Colourful Margate we’re delighted to showcase 54 cherry blossom paintings made by children from various classes at Cliftonville Primary and Pre-School . They were inspired by the school’s very own cherry tree, planted in early 2021 and as part of Colourful Margate’s collaboration with the national Sakura Cherry Tree Project, and by the more than 120 cherry trees planted in Dane Park since 2018. This will hopefully inspire the planting of many more cherry trees in Margate.
