Thelma Speirs has created a work covering the entire front window of the space.

Utilizing working drawings from ‘Birds & Bags’ which was shown during the 2021 Pride Art Trail and starting from a white washed surface the images were gradually revealed to the street. The ‘painting’ took place on Friday 5 th August and the piece will remain installed until 20th August.

Bird Spotting is part of Margate Pride’s Pride Art Map featuring a wonderful array of shows & events in galleries, shop windows and other spaces across Margate. All up till the 20 August. See the Pride website for full details.
