The Loop and other Thanet Stories

This show brings together photography & video work to tell a series of stories about the Isle of Thanet, from artists Jo Murray, Dominic Rose, Jon Spencer and Heather Tait.

Three of the artists previously collaborated in a show, conceived by Jo Murray, which set out to explore the equally celebrated & maligned bus route, the Thanet Loop, which charts a circular route around Thanet. This included Loop Dreams, a video piece by Jo Murray and An Ode to the Thanet Loop, a karaoke video by Jon Spencer.  Alongside this work are recent photographs of Thanet from Dominic Rose & Jon Spencer and photo books from Heather Tait.

This show is being presented within our studio space. A concurrent installation by Stuart Rayner and Samuel Vilanova will be on show in our window space for the duration of the Off Season Festival.
